THE MUSIC

The style of music pioneered by Django Reinhardt and his partners
known as Gypsy Jazz is truly exhilarating with its infectious, swinging rhythms.
With guitar replacing drums, the size and volume of the group are greatly
reduced while still keeping the same driving force.
C'est la musique de bon temps!

UPCOMING PERFORMANCES:

From Our Debut CD & Video

We were excited to release our first album to the world in the hope that everyone could enjoy the rich tradition of Gypsy Jazz as we do. We also had a ball writing new GJ compositions to add to the oeuvre. Here's our hot  video of a super-swinging original!

"Sado Manouche"

"Out On The Town" Promo Video
Playing, talking and joking about the new album, how the group got its name,
why dogs are important to show on camera, and what the heck "abstruse" means.
All this while one of the original compositions from the CD keeps the mood swinging.
"Scooby Doo"

by Brian Mann

"Micro"

by Django Reinhardt

In The Studio...

We enjoy mixing up these historic GJ standards along with our originals.

This is our usual rehearsal and recording space where we are most

comfortable and have made some of our best music.

We wish you could all come visit us here in Santa Barbara!

11 weeks in Billboard Top 30!
We are thrilled to become the first Gypsy Jazz band ever to land a spot in the prestigious Billboard Contemporary Jazz Top 30.
Check out this ultra-hip Gypsy Funk piece penned by Craig.
